Tiffy had a little bit of a problem smiling for the camera, because her cheeks are so sore and swollen. She is doing well though. The oral surgeon said that the worst day is usually the 3rd day for swelling and then it gets better from there. She is eating normal soft food now and still keeping up her meds. Her Mom and I were up a few times last night to administer the meds. Just a little bit tired today.
I'm about half way through reading "The Genesis Flood" by Whitcomb and Morris. The book is wonderful!!!! We have had the book for a while, but just recently started it because of Mr. Botkin's suggested reading list from the SMM group. We've been young age Creationists for a long time now and have a Charter membership at AIG's Creation Museum. I thought I had a pretty good idea how to refute evolution before, but this is completely different. It explains from the ground up literally and is very good at using the bible at every possible moment. I highly recomend it as a source of reading for you and your children. It is somewhat technical though so it might be more difficult for younger readers.
God Bless You,
Tim

Tiffany's Wisdom Lost
Tiffy's wisdom teeth removal went fine with no issues. She is on her return home from the surgery as I'm writing this post. I'm sure she will be in pain and probably not want to do much for the rest of the day. Lisa's stopping and picking up her pain meds on the way home, I think she will need them soon. I have been teacher today and getting caught up on some things from my bed in the addition. I praise the Lord for this time that I have to spend with my family. I truley can't wait to come home completely and start working from home. Hopefully I can post some chipmunk pics of Tiffy later. Thank you for your prayers and encouragement.
God bless you,
Tim

A Day in the Life of Daddy!
Hello Everyone!
Daddy is doing quite well, and we thought we'd post some pictures of what he's been up to!
This is Daddy's set up in the Addition. He is usually accompanied by...
Peanut! Daddy's little Tonto!
Daddy's also been getting some reading done. The Genesis Flood he is reading to himself; Home-Making (now titled The Family) he is reading to Mommy; and The Guns of The Lion by Douglas Bond he was reading to all of us and finished last night! (We absolutely love Bond's books, which you can learn about here !)
This is a beautiful plaque our neighbors made and gave to us when they visited last week!
So, that's what life between appointments and medication has been like! This wednesday I will be getting my Wisdom Teeth out, so I'll be the one in bed soon!
In Christ,
For the Family,
Tiffany

Happy Birthday TJ!
T.J. turned 15 this past Monday!
The Birthday Boy with the birthday cake Daddy decorated!
Oh no, TJ REALLY blew out the candles! (Just kidding, these are actually the victims of a warmer-than-usual fire he built!)

I'm doing better
I want to thank all of you for your prayers. It has been a real mad house around here with doctors appts. etc. I had my first post operation visit with the doctor, she said it looks like it will be a 12 week recovery more than likely. I'm not able to use my right foot for any weight bearing at all. In about 3 weeks I'll be getting a hard cast for my foot. They will be x-raying my foot around that time to see how the bone graft is working. If it isn't then they will have to go back in and try again with something else. We are praying that all goes well with the healing process.
My family has been incredible during this time. My daughter has given her bed to me so I can bunk downstairs next to the bathroom and in the middle of the school room where I can be with them during the day. I have been sleeping quite a bit, but have reduced the amount of my pain meds. and have been doing better. I have been in bed with my foot elevated for the last week getting up only for necessities. I have started a few new books, one I am reading aloud to the family. This is a tradition in winter, that I read aloud a couple of books in the evenings around the fire. The newest one being The Guns of the Lion, of course being read with the Scottish lilt that I've used on all of the previous Bond books that we have. The kids enjoy it greatly. Needless to say, so do I.
We are also viewing "Entrepreneurial Boot Camp" DVD's and have been thinking about a family
business for some time now. We are hoping to come up some sound ideas to start praying about. Also our generational vision and our family's 200 year plans are still in infancy and need some growth and further development.
I will keep you all posted on my progress and healing through this great blessing of Time being spent with my family.
Thank you all for your continued prayers
Praise the Lord,
Tim

Surgery a Success!
Hello Everyone,
Daddy's surgery went well yesterday! It was a good thing we had it done, because the void in his bone was much larger than they had thought! He had a few issues in recovery but he is doing well here at home! Thank you for your prayers! God Bless!
